All students have the right to achieve their full potential both academically and socially. All of our students have access to a broad curriculum, including the national curriculum that is tailored to their individual needs. We are an inclusive school and understand that all students can face challenges in their learning.
We recognise that students need to be in the right place emotionally to learn and need the right skills to communicate their learning in order to make progress. We tailor interventions to help support the development of students’ communication skills, social skills, and ability to regulate emotions. We have a learning zone and designated state of the art sensory and creative rooms where students can access these specialist interventions as appropriate.
We offer a range of support to develop teacher’s expertise and additional support within the classroom, these include: staff training, lesson drop ins as well as specialist advice/input within the classroom. If you have any additional questions, concerns or worries, please do not hesitate to contact a member of the SEND team.
