Year 1 at Christ Church had an amazing time at Broadstairs as part of their theme for this half term, Beside the Seaside! They took in the sand, sea and sun whilst learning about how to make sandcastles, identifying seaweed, rocks and shells as well as eating ice cream – all the while keeping away from hungry seagulls! They now know what Mr Grinling felt in their core text, the Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch! They had such a great time and created memories that will last for all!
