Work experience is a crucial opportunity that helps students gain valuable insights and access future career opportunities. We encourage all Year 10 and Year 12 students to independently source their own work experience placements for our designated work experience week in July. A risk assessment must be completed through the Unifrog platform to ensure safety.

During the Covid pandemic, many employers paused their work experience offerings, which has made it more challenging to secure placements for all students. For those unable to find placements, we provide alternative options such as online work experience programmes and workplace visits to ensure they still gain essential workplace exposure.

The best approach to find work placements is to approach local employers or to use family or school connections.

These online platforms may offer appropriate work experience.
